Lunar-Gate
The Babylon Gates are artifficial interstellar gates that allow ships with limited FTL-drives to travel from one side of the galaxy to the other, even to other galaxies by minutes. There are possibly four of these gates found in the Milky Way galaxy, mostly found by the Great Elder races, including the Elementals, the Thihilem and the Sha'dahls thousands of years ago. The "Gate Builders", a name given to the unkown race may have been members of the Great Elders but not native in the Milky Way. There are legends of these gates in ancient cultures which civilizations had worshipped them as holy relics.
